Alberta Site Rehabilitation Program – Thank You

image.jpg

Ridgeline Canada would like to thank every Oil and Gas Producer as well as every environmental services provider for fully engaging into the call to action of the Alberta Government and the proposed Site Rehabilitation Program (SRP). Together, we are dealing with an unprecedented health situation causing drastic economical disruption and our proactive actions are key to create immediate work and stimulate some sectors of our economy.

An average of 4,500 applications for funding under the SRP portal have been received every day since the opening of the program. This could not be achieved without a great collaboration, timely communication, and an inherent trust between environmental service providers and Oil and Gas Producers. Ridgeline is grateful to be part of a dynamic and professional field of environmental service providers and producers.

We were informed by the Ministry of Energy that every application that has been duly submitted will receive 100% funding consideration for the first funding increment of $100M, regardless of Licensee’s financial situation. The applications are being reviewed on a “first come first serve” basis and Ridgeline was able to design and implement an efficient strategy that respects all SRP requirements and supports Oil and Gas Producers to apply in a timely fashion.

We encourage all Licensee’s to continue to be proactive creating priority lists of sites and to engage with their environmental service providers. If you have industry peers that are still unsure about the program and would like to apply for funding, please offer our contact information and we will support their request. Time is of the essence to stimulate our economy and put our industry back to work. Let’s get back to work Alberta!
