Natural Oilfield Waste Treatment

Ridgeline’s new GreenFill Treatment Sites create ideal conditions for naturally occurring bacteria and micro-organisms to break down the hydrocarbons within contaminated soils into CO2 and water. Bio remediation and mechanical treatment takes place within bio-cells, each filled with soils contaminated with similar types of waste. Soils are treated to unconditional land usage criteria so they can be safely used as daily landfill cover, and eventually capping material. In addition to the three site containment layers illustrated above, each site is also equipped with groundwater monitoring wells and surface run-off collection ponds to maximize process integrity and safety.
